About the Journal

Research and Innovation in Educational Practice (RIEP) is an international, open-access, and peer-reviewed journal that aims to advance knowledge and promote research studies in the field of educational sciences. RIEP does not charge any submission fees, additional publication fees, or APCs. Adhering to the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), RIEP ensures that all published content is freely available to readers worldwide without any charge. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts, or use them for any lawful purpose without needing prior permission from the publisher or authors as long as they cite the studies appropriately.

RIEP is published biannually in June and December. Yet, a DOI will be assigned once a manuscript is accepted for publication. RIEP offers immediate open access to its content, which reflects its commitment to fostering global knowledge exchange and collaboration. The journal publishes research articles, conceptual and review papers (limited to 20% of the total content in any volume). Accepted articles are published online-first and included in subsequent issues to ensure timely dissemination of scholarly contributions.

The journal welcomes interdisciplinary perspectives that bridge research and practice, emphasizing innovative approaches, rigorous methodologies, and practical implications for education at all levels. RIEP seeks to foster dialogue among scholars and practitioners by publishing studies that address contemporary educational issues and propose evidence-based solutions applicable across diverse cultural and educational settings.

 

Aims

Research in Educational Practice aims to:

  • Promote evidence-based approaches to teaching, learning, assessment, and educational leadership.

The journal welcomes quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental, quasi-experimental, design-based, action research, case study, longitudinal, and cross-cultural investigations. Manuscripts should demonstrate methodological rigor, theoretical significance, and practical relevance.

 

Editorial Policy

Research in Educational Practice evaluates submissions through a rigorous double-blind peer-review process based on originality, methodological quality, theoretical contribution, ethical standards, clarity of presentation, and significance for educational research and practice. Manuscripts must present unpublished work and adhere to internationally recognized standards of research integrity and publication ethics.

The journal welcomes submissions from scholars worldwide and encourages international collaboration, interdisciplinary perspectives, and research that contributes to improving educational practice across diverse cultural, linguistic, institutional, and policy contexts.
